I use Winton oil colors (a decent brand for the price), and try to get ahold of as many non hues as I can (oxides of cobalt, cadmium, titanium, chromium, not hues thereof). I use heavy duck cotton canvas stretched over beveled 1.5" by .75" poplar boards that I nail together using 3d 1-1/4" nails. My favorite three brushes are my 0 white sable round detailing brush, my 1/4 white sable oval wash, and my 1" one stroke flat brush. I buy odorless mineral spirits from home depot
ooh, dat table in the description. I like SoGreatandPowerful's elemental table... for a while I was all like, "e, p, ... u electron orbital?" and then, "Oh! earthpony, pegasus, UNICORN!... that's nerd awesome!"
Anyway, these paints are all awesome in different ways. I like the perspective on this one though... except that far window is a little off. and I love that equation on the board. I don't even know what it is... time to investigate! Very nice.
