Oil on Canvas ~2 inches by 2.5 inches inset of
it can be difficult to show all the details in a large painting using photographs, to get a good shot I need very bright but soft light

and without a photo tent you get either what was uploaded yesterday (dull colors and a tad fuzzy) during a too overcast day

or what is up today (bright but has shadows and shiny spots)

I can compensate for the overly bright day by taking a small detail photo, this also can serve to give you an idea of the quality of resolution that will be in any prints that I sell, which I use much much higher resolution images and perfect conditions to create.

here's to tomorrow being a very bright and cloudy day!

Those textures! Oooh, if only I could actually see this painting in reality and examine it up close - there's something visceral about oil paintings in particular that digital art will never be able to capture.

Very nice detail! It amazes me how you can get details like this with paints...they seem so hard to control :iconthinkplz:
